The Miller Brothers, Eric and Marc, have opened The Catch Seafood Tavern overlooking the harbor in Port Jefferson. The Catch offers East Coast Seafood Cuisine in a casual waterfront restaurant with outdoor dining. The bi-level restaurant is a restoration of the original building, a landmark icon in Port Jefferson.

Eric Miller
Executive Chef/Partner
Has been an experienced chef and restauranteur since 1990. Upon earning his chefs whites at the Culinary Institute of America, Miller started his career in Aspen, CO at Charlemagne Restaurant and also in Sag Harbor, NY at The Long Wharf. Following these experiences, Miller headed into Manhattan to work with acclaimed chef Christian Delouvrier at the Parker Meridien’s Maurice. After gaining much experience in Manhattan, he ventured out on his own opening a series of Upper East Side restaurants including Chianti, City Café and Tavola, which he co-owned with his brother Marc. In 2002 Miller ventured outside of Manhattan and opened Càvo in Queens serving Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. Càvo received much praise upon opening and continues to offer one of the most attractive garden dining rooms in Queens. Most recently in 2007 he took over FOOD & CO, a Hamptons premier catering institution. In early 2009, the Miller brothers reunited and purchased a waterfront seafood restaurant in downtown Port Jefferson on Long Island. The Catch offers east coast seafood cuisine specializing in fresh and local seafood in a casual atmosphere.

Marc Miller
Managing Partner

After graduating from Boston University with a M.B.A. in marketing, he teamed up with his brother Eric to open City Café and Tavola on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. Following this experience, he held front of the house management positions at Northside Café in Brooklyn and Angelo & Maxie’s in Manhattan. In 2000, Miller teamed up with his brother again to open Chianti in Manhattan. In 2001, he headed north to Vermont to be a ski bum. He landed at Verdé as general manager at the popular ski resort area Stratton. After two years in Stratton, he moved to another popular ski resort area of Vermont, Okemo Mountain. As general manager of culinary services at Coleman Brook Tavern at Okemo Mountain in Vermont, he implemented an award-winning wine program, which now holds an Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator. Most recently Miller has teamed up again with his brother to open The Catch, offering a casual dining experience in Port Jefferson on the water featuring East Coast Seafood Cuisine.
